It's no surprise that the average tenure of the CMO has dropped again. I delivered the keynote speech at the BMA internarional conference on the topic of "What CEOs Want From Marketing". In it, I pulled no punches. If CMOs continue to miss the mark their tenure will most certainly continue to decrease. I too am passionate about the importance of marketing.
